Free Range Turkey - Dispatch 7
Samarai warrior?
Ninja assassin? Bruce Lee? No, it's Yuji Hirayama! In dispatch 7, we
discover his personal philosophy for life and climbing as he floats up
some of the world's most difficult rock climbs (Devers Royal (8c+)
– hardest climb in Turkey!).

Sara Lingafelter - Reader Blog 4
6/17/10 - It's
been a long time since I wrote for Climbing... I think it was last July.
If I close my eyes and think back over the last few months, and how very
much there would be to catch up on, it's kinda dizzying. I've moved to
Seattle, started a new job in the outdoor biz, kept blogging and writing,
have snuck in some fun climbing trips and am still climbing every chance I
get (although, with the day job, that's way less than I'd grown accustomed
to) and... what else?

Wrangle in the Triangle Bouldering
Competition
It’s back, it’s bigger, and you must be there! On
June 19th, Triangle Rock Club will be hosting the 3rd annual “Wrangle in
the Triangle” Indoor Climbing Competition. With thousands of dollars in
prizes and fun festivities planned throughout the day, we are looking
forward to a rock’n good time. This year’s Wrangle will be a bouldering
redpoint format with routes from V0 to V-Crazy. Climbers can register
under youth, beginner, intermediate, and advanced categories. Come on out
for the Triangle’s greatest indoor climbing competition.
Vibram Natural Games 2010
Vibram Natural Games
will be back from the 24th of June to the 27th of June 2010 in Millau, the
European outdoor sports capital. This year, the Gravity Trip, much more
eclectic, will succeed the Roc trip. Besides a gathering at the Boffi’s
cliff, there will be a bouldering contest on the Official Village (the
event’s center). This year, novelties appear: For the cliff, Ultimate
routes could be tried by all the competitors and not only by professional
climbers.
HomoClimbtastic Trip to the New River
Gorge
HomoClimbtastic returns to the New River Gorge for four
extraordinary days of climbing and homo-socializing in the mountains of
West Virginia. The New River Gorge is one of the premier sport/trad
climbing areas in North America, with more than 2,500 established routes
on beautiful white, orange, and purple sandstone walls.
